Key dates and deadlines

The following dates will be of relevance to students studying for the ATT / CTA examinations:

2019

Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 May

Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 November

Principles of Accounting, Law and Professional Responsibilities & Ethics CBEs

You will be eligible to sit the Computer Based Examinations, at various test centres around the UK, following acceptance of your registration as a Tax Pathway student, subject to a 21 day period to allow your profile to be created on the Computer Based Examination system.  You should allow at least 10 working days between the time of booking the Computer Based Examination and an appointment being available at your chosen centre, and you should expect slightly longer waiting times at periods when demand is likely to be high (particularly in February and August).

Should you be unsuccessful you must allow up to 24 hours before you can book a resit.

For the May examination sitting, please note the following deadlines

Last day of December – The latest date for receipt of online student registration if you wish to enter for the May examination.

Last day of February – The closing date for receipt of online examination entry for the May examination.

March – Student Training Conference.

First week in May - examinations are held.

Approximately third week of July – Students are notified of May examination results.

For the November examination sitting, please note the following deadlines

Last day of June – The latest date for receipt of online student registration if you wish to enter for the November examination.

Last day of August – The closing date for receipt of online examination entry for the November examination.

September – Student Training Days - training sessions intended for students taking certain ATT and CTA examinations and concentrates on the more demanding aspects of the topics, and the exam technique needed for the relevant paper. 

First week in November - examinations are held.

Approximately third week of January – Students are notified of November examination results.
